The journey of Plastic Culture is like a roller coaster that never stops. We continue to try in bringing the best designer toys collection to Indonesia, especially to Jakarta and Bandung. At the moment we have three stores, they are located mainly in the heart of Jakarta.
The Other Culture was the first store that opened in July 2008, then in June 2010, Grand Indonesia became our second “home”. Here we have redefined ourself as a BRAND, instead of just a store. Plastic Culture was born! Not long after that, a little spot for us just opened up in February 2011 at Manekineko Space, that is located in Epicentrum Walk.
The question is, what now what? Well, we can tell you that we are working with different Indonesian artists right now in making designer toys of our own. We have recruited Thunderpanda, Pronto Pixel, Saltnpaper, and Breeanz as our resident artists. Now, we dedicate ourselves in creating the best artworks in toys, illustrations, apparels, and merchandises with these artists.
We are also working with few international artists to collaborate with our resident artists in producing one of a kind art toys! We are very excited for this project..
